This past weekend, my sister and cousin threw me my first baby shower! There we're so many people there who have loved and supported me from infancy to where I am now. Some of the party highlights were playing Baby Scattergories and eating delicious cupcakes from Scratch Bakery. http://scratchbakery.com/ I was blessed with so many gifts and now my child's closet is full. Putting Thing Together

Since Christmas is over, we are back in the swing of things managing work, church, social life, birthing class, and more baby preparation. My aunt gave us a free glider and then our pastor's wife gave us the free gift of reupholstering our glider cushions. We made a poster with a Bible verse on it and then framed it for the baby's room. Also a family friend sewed curtains for the baby's room which gives the boring gray room some color. We don't have pictures yet because the room still looks a little boring. We have some more artwork to buy or make.

Every Saturday from now until March we have a birthing class. Last Saturday the topic was nutrition. Little did we know that everyone in the class shops organic and spends lots on special vitamins. Dave told me not to feel guilty because we were among a group far from average. I eat fruits and veggies everyday but I'm not scared of a snack once in a while : )
